I'm probably setting myself up for a spanking from you guys

But as long as you don't tell me I should have folded on the flop, I think I can handle whatever smacking around you guys want to dish out.

Villain seems to be a fairly decent player. A bit too loose probably, but she is up over $50 in the 200 hands I have on her in PT.

I'm on a rush of good cards this session and this hand was borderline compared to the others. Seemed like I could do no wrong. (winning wise, not playing wise)

My preflop raise was a miss click, I had meant to limp in. Didn't think I should raise with a PP that low in that position but it happened so I went with it.

I raised the turn, figuring if she reraised then I was dead. (would this have been a better play on the flop instead? Or was it wrong to begin with?) She didn't, she just called so looking back on it, now I think I should have bet the river for value. Is this correct thinking. I mean there weren't really any hearts left that she would have stayed this long with if she didn't already have the flush right?

TIA for the help, I really need to understand these situations better.

Empire 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with [6c], [6s].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, 4 folds, Button calls, SB/(Villain) calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (10 SB) [Ah], [6h], [3h] (5 players)
Villain bets, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls, Button calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) [Jc] (3 players)
Villain bets, Hero raises, Button folds, Villain calls.

River: (10.50 BB) [Kh] (2 players)
Villain checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 10.50 BB

Villain shows [Ad] [6d]

Flop: I'd probably raise thinking I currently have the best hand and want to take people's money while I KNOW I'm ahead. If the turn comes another heart, you're not raising it. He probably has a pair or a straight/flush draw. You'd be glad to fold out someone with a small single heart incase the flush comes in and villain only has a pair.

Turn: Good.

River: Good. I also would have checked behind since his betting pattern fits with someone on a flush draw and I'd hate to be bluff check-raised here. I'm not folding the set here incase he only has a pair, but I'd hate to have to pay 2 BBs to find out. Very scary board, filling straights and flushes. For all we know villain has a small flush and was scared by your turn-raise indicating a higher flush.

If I knew he had 2-pair and none of the suit, then of course you bet the river. But you don't know that. Don't get too involved in results-based thinking.

Value bet the river. Villian has played her hand like an A with a medium kicker. Fold if you get raised.

I'd definitely raise the flop. I want to give Button the worst possible odds to chase a flush plus the feeling that he's sandwiched between me and the first bettor - so that he can't be sure he won't have to put in another two small bets to see the turn card. I want him out, out, out.

Turn and river: perfect.

Thanks guys.
I can see where raising the flop would have been the smart thing to do. I just froze like a deer in the headlights though when that flop came down all hearts and the small blind bet into me.

I like Nortons thoughts on the river bet as well. If she is a solid player as you say she would not be calling 2 bets cold preflop with a decent hand and when she comes out leading on that flop I put her on an ace good kicker so when she fails to bet the river I am not worried at all about her having a heart as it would be a good one in all likelihood and she certainly would not check it in fear that you might check behind.
