Up $12 last night playing mostly HU. Now I'm addicted to these dam heads up games. I'm only doing the $5.25 games, Fixed O8, NL, PLO8 and PLO. I guess its good for practice, but I HATE THEM. I have found that I just simply hate heads up. There's nothing more excruciating than playing these, yet I keep doing it. Its amazing how I have the patience to make it to the money and beyond in SNGs, but heads up I just get sick of waiting around sometimes and just say F it. Seems to me that if you can't beat these things 70% of the time, its not worth it because you aren't beating the rake. I was as high as 67%, but I dropped a couple this morning. Man its frustrating. These things just eat shit.

Played a couple NLHE $5.25s this morning and won both and one last night. Feeling a little better about them. I shouldn't play them at work, that's where I got messed up because it takes too much focus. I'll just play em at home.

I would highly recommend not playing the $5.25 heads up games. Most of the players are complete fools who will go all in with anything, raise anything, call any raise, and it makes it very difficult to play against them. You'll of course make a profit in the long run, however I doubt your game will improve at all.

Even though I think I'm sober and making good decisions, I seem to do bankroll damage after a few of them. I must stop it!!!

Cleared the $1900 profit hurdle after that sweet $22 PL Omaha MTT 4th place finish with Godlike on BTP, only to cough it up with a suck out on a $22 SNG and some f'd up hands in O8 SNGs and in O8 cash games. Ended up back at $1860.

Really enjoying the two straight weeks of MTT final table cashes (won the first one last week). Let the hot streak ride!!!

Got up early and played the 7:30 AM Fixed O8 Tourney on FTP. Only 17 players. Ho hum. Made it to the final table relatively easily. Came in 5th. A little unhappy with my play on a couple hands. I have to stop making mistakes in the BB, because its too easy to get roped into playing a non-nut hand. The pot odds say yes, call one more bet, but I need to ask myself - would I have played this hand preflop? Occasionally, the BB special happens, but not often enough in these tourneys. Tight is definitely right in these and that's how I've made the final tables so often.

Heads up games are giving me a royal headache. Only winning 60% of them. Good, but not worth the time really.

Time to get back to some NLHE SNGs and make some cash.

10th out of 37 in the PL Omaha Hi MTT in the mid-afternoon.
