Well I think you won 'em both, and here is why:

1. I think that guy is on a busted flush draw. Given there were just two of you the odds of him having the high end of that are slimmer

2. Any guy with a name like matador6969 is a muppet.

first, WHERE ARE YOUR PTO/PAHUD READS???????????

first hand - as he's not driving the betting, he doesn't have the nut. as such, i think calling down these small bets is not a bad idea WITHOUT A READ. i wouldn't drive the betting on the value of the hand, but i might based on the likelihood that he will lay down a non-nut made hand (READ DEPENDENT). he either has 3-7 or 2-3, so i guess you split.

second hand - if i thought they would lay down (READ DEPENDENT), i would try to buy the pot on the turn. ok, i think i get it... you both have 2pr Q-kicker with busted draws to the same str8, so you split.

did i mention that PAhud has "Fold to flop/turn/river bet" as a stat?

Hand 1 - your opponent is a moron almost regardless of what he has. I think you win, but i'm certainly not laying your hand down in your shoes.

Hand 2 is a bit tighter because there's more that can beat your hand. Closing the action it's perhaps a call, I think, because his check on the turn is VERY suspicious, followed by a substantial river bet, would be a classic "missed flush draw" type bluff. A set is possible though, and there's always a chance (now you're not holding top two) that the queen has caught him. Closing the action, though, i'd call here against most opponents. You don't need to catch him very often for it to be +EV.

Having re-read hand 1, looks like he actually bet pot on turn ($1.50 seems like such a tiny bet I kinda discounted it as an underbet out of hand) - in which case it's more possible he could be a decent player playing top straight with no redraws cautiously (i.e. waiting for a safe turn) so it's a lot tighter. I guess it becomes more read dependent. I'd call it down but make it a $400 game or something and I'm a little more cautious!
