This log will have no redeeming value, with no theme and a very shallow purpose. Quite the similarity with my daily existence. Its only purpose will be to memorialize my efforts to accumulate funds to completely pay for a plasma screen television for X-mas 06', through poker winnings alone. Just in time for Super Bowl 07'. Need to average approximately $200/month. My game of choice is O8 and PLO8. I'm generally playing for small stakes of anywhere between .50/1.00 - 2/4 at UB, Pacific and Planet.

Usually this log will be about poker, sometimes not. Sometimes it will be therapeutic, as in moaning about having to spend $2,000 on my roof due to pigeon damage. Other times it may be about movies. Such as Serenity, which I caught this weekend. What did I take with me from this movie? That the pilot of the heroes ship was Steve the Pirate from Dodgeball. Aargh! In addition, how long has it been since there was a Barney Miller character sighting? The dude who played Harris is in the movie as some type of quasi holy man. Damn, he must have came on the cheap.

Played this morning to allow for NFL this afternoon. Being a fan of the AZ Cardinals leads to much consternation during football season. It's rather difficult to watch in a state of sobriety.

Uneventful poker today, in fact quite boring. Approx. 100 hands of $25NL and don't think I was ever up or down more than $3. Had no luck building any pots when I had solid hands and didn't make any big calls without proper odds on the other end. Playing majority of hands now at Tiger Gaming to work off a bonus. May try to get a few more hands in the evening.

As a mini rant, nothing irritates me more than when you try to give someone money and they're to incompetent to accept it. Two to three years ago I joined Royal Vegas Poker for a short period of time. Earlier this week I tried to join Bet365 for their attractive bonus offer. Since it is part of the Prima network I can have only one user id. Long story short, between my communication with Bet365 and Royal Vegas I am unable to obtain a verification code which will allow this to happen. Customer Service at some of these places is atrocious.
