thanks bro. that is pretty much my read on amour as well. Mac Gyver seems pretty solid and was part of the reason AG went on tilt I really do like playing PLO8 as the players by and large are so shitty. I take a couple of rough beats from time to time but I generally have the best of it going in most of the time I believe. Compared to the low limit holdem games this is much better in my opinion in regard to variance, good game selection and difference in abilities between good and bad players. If nothing else it has been a nice change of pace from getting my teeth kicked in in the low limit holdem games over the last couple of days.

I thought Mendacious played higher than 25. I've played him on the 100 and 200 at Stars I thought.

Anyhow, I think you played ok here Piers. Only slight question was the CR on the A26K hand, normally that wouldn't really be a CR sort of flop, what was your line of thinking there? Guess it must be specific to that opponent.

jd... i have the same read of AoG. i had the misfortune of getting stacked by him two days ago. i figured my second nut boat was good with te crap he was showing down, but he had the nut.

piers... fwiw, you were at a fiarly tight table (my stats had mid 20s vpip... low for party that night). i only stayed due to the fact that AoG was paying off (at least while i was there).

monk... mendacious usually does play the bigger games, but i think that he sometimes plays at 25s when there aren't enough tables at higher levels (i think he looks for "good" tables at the higher levels) or when he is clearing a bonus.
