Thoughts? Mucking to the turn raise was probably the best course of action, but a lot of times thats a naked Q semi bluffing.

i don't quite understand this.

i would think that this is a hand that i want to showdown with. if i bet and he has me beat, he probably is not folding, if i do have him beat,, then i don't care if he folds. as such, it seems like a check-call would be best. it costs the same one bet (or less if he checks behind), and i get to SD.

were you trying ot make him fold the winning hand?

are you saying that his raise on the turn was an attempt at getting you to check on the river so he could check behind?

and i still don't understand why you laid down -- i'm thinking that there are a lot of hands that you beat here. please explain.
