Okay so i've recently signed up to Absolute Poker and I tried playing some 6max Limit (2/4 and 3/6). These players DO NOT F***ING fold. I raise from UTG with KQs and get called by EVERYONE. I get aces on the button and everyone has limped in to me, I raise, everyone calls. The blinds NEVER fold to a steal. The tables keep breaking up so it's constantly 4 handed or so and they play the same way. I just don't understand how it's possible to beat a game like this. I'm in love with SHLE but I just can't see any way in hell to beat this game. It might be a bad run of cards but it doesn't change the way the people play. When I hit on the flop, i floped the nut straight earlier, and i bet and everyone called. There was no flush draw. One person ended up filling up on the river with runner runner for a FH. It's basically a m'f'ing lottery. I'm thinking of moving to full ring to clear this bonus as it looks like i'm going to LOSE money playing against the morons i've come up against so far. @)(^#$@*&%#^&$@#*&^@# <--- what's going on inside m y head right now.

I don't know GL--it seems like the Party SNAFU has disturbed the fish tank, and with it comes disturbances in the order of the universe. Things have happened in the last week or so that have no explanation. Things like Xaston, Piers, and myself (gasp) losing.

That just ain't right.

Funny funny.

It's something in the water lately though--everybody seems to be having a bad run of cards, me, Piers (at times), Ice, Xaston...

The fish seem to be winning the battle the last week or two.

Seems like it huh. I've even been playing over a spread of like 5 sites and it's been the same at all of them.. I suppose they need one week a year to regain a certain minute sliver of hope so we can continue to empy their pockets into own the rest of the year round.

This must be the week. Read piers' journal, read Xas's journal, read mine. The last ten days have been a minefield. Be real careful out there--the fish are out for revenge.

But fear not--the natural order of things will soon restore itself and the winning will continue.

Did I mention anywhere that if you are winning this week, you're a fish?

All I'm saying is that for the last 10 days or so, between cold decking and rancid bad beats by stupid players, many players have had downswings. I know that I've seen some really tough beats come my way, and it's funny that it's come on the heels of the Party network breakdown, and its just as funny that I've noticed a lot of new players on Stars in the 5/10 lately.
