What is a good average pot size for SH LHE tables?

It seems like 6 or 7 BB is about average. 4 or 5 is on the low end, and 8 plus is good. This is just based on observation of the .50/1 tables. So is this about right? Does it change at different limits?

Also, is there an average pot size that is too large? This may sound dumb, but I know that in PLO8, pot averages that are too high represent 2 or more LAGs or ultraLAGs going at it. You can make a killing at the tables, but the variance can be a real biatch as you usually are playing for your stack if you want to play after the flop. Maybe this is not a problem in limit games.

Well most of my experience is at 3/6 and a good, juicy table at these limits is about 6+ BBs. I'd say the average is about 5. I've never actually seen a table with an avg. pot of 8BBs.

you've clearly never seen a table with TW and MK on it -- they take it personally if it's not 8BB before the turn card hits the felt.
