ok, i'm a n00b at this, but...

what kind of variance do you expect in a session?

i mean, it seems like a 10-20 bb swing is not really that much at a table. i can't imagine thinking twice about a 50bb swing during a lengthy MT session, and i would imagine that 100+bb swings are not uncommon.

i ask mainly due to MK and Xas seeming quite depressed and indignant that they could have losing sessions like these. are you guys good enough so that these kinds of swings are unexpected rare occurences? (and i'm not asking this in a smart a s s kind of way)

again, i have very little experience, and that is only at nano-limits. but i can still imagine the variance at bigger games.

Even at the nano-limits, like the ones I play at, I have considerable variance. You have to play more marginal hands and play them further than typical full ring games. And as usual, some sessions you will be outdrawn on the river by 2-4 outters many times in large pots.
