Now, I've been watching the table enough to know that the raiser here has very low raising standards. I wouldn't have cold-called with this hand, but being in the big blind, I thought it was worth another SB to see the flop.

Nothing that beats me yet. It could give someone a flush draw, but they'd still have to have a higher flush than me, since I have the flush draw as well.

Ok, here is where I wonder if I should have hit the brakes a little bit, with the board pairing up. There's something like 30+ BB already in the pot, so I'm going to a showdown come hell or high water.

What do you guys think? I think I played it well up until the river, but how would you have played it then?

I think you're fine... if the aggressor here is known to get carried away a little... the raise back is fine. The other good sign is that everyone else in the pot has played it very very passive... so your only concern is the LAGgy raiser. The river raise is good IMO.

River 3 bet seems a bit spewwy to me.

Bet/call the river.

I learned the hard way that after going to battle on the turn, it is usually wise to tone it down once the board pairs....
