I should have just called the turn. Sigh. I think he could have called the river If I hit, and maybe the other guy would have called behind me. Just when I was getting back even for the day...

Yeah, that's really not too good. If you're going to call that crappy hand preflop I suspect you have a vpip of 100%, though that's not the worst thing in the world. However, I don't understand what you're trying to do on the turn against such loose players. Probably calling is best (as you said).

I'm actualy around 50% mostly. I just had a bad day yesterday. Early losses threw me out. I probably would only normaly play that hand from late position.

I just overplayed my hand on the turn, I guess I felt I had more out than I did, and I didn't give the other guy credit for low and high, even though I was still drawing on high card.

Don't call with that hand pre-flop. It is worse then trash.

In a normal game I would raise the flop to try for a free card play on the turn. However, it looks like these players are such donks that may not work, so I think calling the flop and turn would be best.

This is just my opinion but the goal of Hi/Low is to scoop. Not push to split because most time you will get quartered.

I think this is the biggest difference between Omaha 8b and Stud 8b. My strategy for these games is completely different.

So in a round about way I agree to fold preflop.

Whoops, I didn't see this was hi lo.

Disregard my previous response in its entirity. However, the preflop call is extremely loose.

I like raising that flop. I don't mind the turn raise either. Hands that have one way locked up and a strong draw the other way I tend to fastplay pretty hard, though I am only an average plo8 player.
