Uhm- well, since no one has posted here in forever, i figure i would post a little move that i think is tite in a short handed situation, and is something that any SH would do well to learn, since its good for a few BB every session, probably.
This hand came up earlier.
I am BB with
. UTG mizor limps, SB completes, and I check (Obviously).
The flop comes down
.
SB checks, i check, UTG bets, sb folds, i raise. UTG calls.
Turn is the
. , i bet he folds.
Now obviously, i made the nuts on the turn, but thats not the point- id have bet no matter what because it was obvious that some mizor with somehting like JT just figured he'd bet at the pot and take it down right there, with his position and nothing else. These spots come up on short handed tables decently often, and this play is good for a few BB every session.
