I had the same experience with GPP (virtually everyone does).
Since I don't have any paper bills, I appeased them with:

Driver's license
Credit card
Voided cheque

I took digital pictures of each and blanked out the confidential info (DL #, CC #, etc).

It sucks, but they have their protocols which they basically must follow.

I had no concerns about my money.

What is bizarre is that I have never been asked for any ID by any of the sites or by neteller -even though I must have shifted $10,000's around, transferred funds to other players in the $100's and cashed out $2500 to my UK bank account.

For any banking thing in the UK you usually need 3 pieces of ID.. not complaining - it just strikes me as a bit easy..
