Well, I am in the middle of my worst poker day in a long long time.

I'm down about $80 right now.

I've gone out 6th in the two $15 SNGs I've played.

In the first one, I was 2nd in chips. The guy to my left, was the leader. Blinds were 75/150.

I'm in the SB with [Kh] [Kc]. For some reason, he goes all-in in front of me. I gotta call, right?

I do, and he flipps over [Ah] [Qh]

A on the flop, gets his flush on the turn, and I'm drawing dead.

Next one, I am below starting stack, about T1100. I'm in MP and get [As] [Ks]

I raise to 300 (3x BB). Dude behind me is only caller.

Flop comes [Qh] [4s] [6c]

Pot is 800, and we both have 800 left. I go all-in, and he calls.

He has [Ac] [Kc]

We have same hand, with one of our suit on the flop.

I don't have to tell you what the turn and river brought. You can probably guess

And my ring games (limit) are going really bad. I am getting good starting hands, but none of them are holding up. Frustrating as all hell

Well, what can I say. The bad run continues. I finally won a $15 SNG yesterday morning,, but since then, all I've had is extremely bad luck.

Here is the report from my last 3 SNGs.

$20 SNG at Stars. I'm 3rd in chips with 4 people left. Ah yes, the bubble. The bubble hates me.

PokerStars Game #3184588726: Tournament #15757309, Hold'em No Limit -
Level VI (100/200) - 2005/11/28 - 16:35:31 (ET)

Seat 7: bucko38 (4432 in chips)
Seat 8: cameron35 (1909 in chips)

Form99: posts big blind 200

LuparFiend: calls 400
*** FLOP *** [Td] [9c] [Kd]

LuparFiend: raises 800 to 1200
Form99: calls 800

*** RIVER *** [Td 9c Kd Ts] [Ad]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
LuparFiend: shows [9h] [Kc] (two pair, Kings and Tens)
Form99: shows [Jh] [Ac] (two pair, Aces and Tens)
LuparFiend said, "OMG"
Form99 collected 5254 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***

Seat 2: LuparFiend (small blind) showed [9h Kc] and lost with two pair,

Seat 5: Form99 (big blind) showed [Jh Ac] and won (5254) with two pair,
Aces and Tens
Seat 7: bucko38 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 8: cameron35 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)

So I hit 2 pair on the flop. I should have raised all-in. When the ten comes on the turn, I figure he has another one in his hand, and I'm drawing real thin. Imagine my surprise when the cards flip over and he shows AJ. He called my flop raise with a gutshot and 1 over.

The next SNG was a $15 Turbo. I got disconnected from PokerStars, and lost my connection for the next half hour, so obviously, I got busted out of that one.

Then this morning, another $15 Turbo SNG. 4 people left. Me and another dude are the short stacks. Blinds are big, so I have to play a hand real soon.

ok, so he was the big stack, and only needed to call 800 more. I guess I can justify that call when you have so many chips. And of course, his 4 outer comes on the river.

I've been rivered so many times lately, its unbieleveable.

Oh, and a couple SNGs before that, my AA got beat by KK again when all the money got in PF.

On the bonus front, I depoisted $100 over at sportingbet.com. $100 for 500 contriuted raked hands, and you only have to play the .05/.10 NL games. I've received $30 of the bonus so far.

Players there are really bad too.

Check out this hand from this morning.

I'm on the button with AK. there are like 5 limpers, so I raise it up to 7x the BB. I get a bunch of callers.
Pot is $3.50.
Flop comes 9,2,2.
I bet $2 and get one caller.
Turn is a 5.
I bet the rst of my stack, which is a little over half the pot, and he calls (has me covered).
He shows the powerful hand of A8.
Guess what comes on the river. Yep, and 8.

I know I can't be results orientated. I just have to worry about making the right decisions. I kind of laugh off all of these bad beats, but deap down inside, I want to punch my F*(&*in monitor.

last week was my worst poker week by far. I lost about $250 playing poker. I did get about $180 in bonus money, so my bankroll hasn't dropped too much. its hovering around the $1100 mark.

Hopefully this journal will stop being a bad beat journal soon.

Well, I suppose you all are wondering where the heck I went?

Well, I came back to work one Monday in early December, and livepokerforum.com was now on the restriced website list! I couldn't get there from work anymore!! Bastards!!!!1!

SO that all but killed my poker journal here, because I did all my posting at work. I didn't do it from home, cause I'd rather actually be playing poker than writing about it, heh

So, what I did, was create my very own blog over at blogspot. I took all my old posts, and posted them over there. I just finished that this morning, so I am ready to start updating everyone on my poker quest.

The website is:

Come check it out. I am going to try and post something every day.

I am still going to try and contribute some knowledge and stories to this site in the NL and other forums, so I won't totally be away.

Cheers!!

I had my single best poker day yesterday. I won nearly $300!

I won about $250 over at Martin's playing mainly 100NL, with some 50NL. I won a big pot when I flopped a set, and someone couldn't let go of their overpair. I get dealt pocket 7's and limp in. The BB comes in a for a nice size raise, and I call. Flop comes 287 rainbow. I just called his flop bet. After the rag turn, I raised him up a little and he called. River was a Jack, and he bet 10E. I raised him to 35E and he called. I nice size pot there.

The other big hand I got a little lucky, when I was dealt Aces, and got two callers to my Pre-flop bet. Flop came in ugly T, J, K rainbow. Not a flop you want to see when you have pocket aces.

I make a 3/4 pot size bet and both call. I'm not liking where I am at here. Turn is a rag, and I think it got checked around. River was another King, and I am definitely not liking my situation now. I for sure think I am dead to someone holding a King. I make a smallish blocking type bet (about 1/4 pot), and both call again. It turned out the King saved me. One dude had TJ for a flopped two pair. Other dude had Queens.

I won some other nice pots where I flopped the nut straight with 23, and another where I flopped a flush with 89s.

I also took 2nd place in a 45 person $6 turbo over at Pokerstars for a nice $55 profit.

I'm through about 1000 VIP over at Martin's. Just 2000 more to go.

Cheers!

I haven't updated here much (mostly because I update my blog almost daily), but I had to post here because I reached a milestone.

My bankroll reached 5 figures last night! Yep, that's right:

I've been playing online poker for almost exactly one year, starting out with $100 (Well, really $50). These last two months have been awesome, going from 3k to 10k. Wow!
