I have read and heard that Caesar's (Las Vegas) new room will be one of the best. I believe that Card Player said something like Caesars wants to become the next Poker Empire.

I also understand that they want to open in the beginning of December, which is now. I am heading up there next week. Does anyone know when the opening will be?

Also does the opening of a new room, especially one that is supposed to high profile, bring in the fish, or the sharks? I usually play 5/10 limit.

I was just out in Vegas the weekend before Thanksgiving. I treked through Caesar's and didn't see any poker room. Of course the place is so enormous that I very likely wasn't in the right place. The dealers at Aladdin did say that it was opening soon and was supposed to be very nice.

As far as player level, I'd assume that when it first opens it'll be filled with plenty of crappy players who are staying at Caesar's and want to try out this "poker thing". Even established rooms continually fill with horrible players.

I was there recently and the fishiest game seemed to be at the Bellagio - 8/16 and 15/30. Of course my sample size is 1, but most of the guys there were just giving money away.

NYNY didnt have a room when I was staying there (two weeks ago). And I didnt see any signs of building one.

I'll check it out when I'm there next and report back. I will be going for 4 days starting a week from Monday.
