What if he had like 8TQK with hearts? How would you like him to play it? I remember reading something Felonious wrote a while ago that stuck with me. Just cause you're getting proper odds to throw the rest of your stack in on the turn with a big draw doesn't mean you should. The $3.42 you save when you miss will add up to something over time. That wasn't exactly verbatim, but you get the point.

He called not getting proper odds with an open ender and missed. That's how we make money, it's not extraordinarily bad.


I vote hand 2 by a landslide, and hand 1 I think he could have very well played perfectly.

if you voted hand 2, how come there isn't a vote for hand two?

Hand 1 - I'd play K[h] Q[h] T[c] 8[c] in exacty the same way. Though of course he could've had less.

Hand 2 - pretty horrible. If I was him (well, I never play on a shortstack but if I was) I'd have just bet pot on flop and cursed when I got raised and lost my stack that way. But ideally I'd have a proper stack

Hand 3 - just laughable.

Hand 4 - bad but you see people chase open enders all day in PLO. I reckon you'll also see far worse plays than this most days too.

I vote hand 3, very marginally. Hand 2 is rather horrific too.

Who voted for hand 1? I'd have said that's *potentially* (cos we can't see his cards) the best play.
