Chopping

What you try to get is a chopping deal with the guy on your left before you post the first time and no chopping with the guy on your right. Just tell the guy on your right up front that you don't chop.

Of course if you are playing in Cali or elsewhere that takes an exorbitant rake if a flop is seen then perhaps you should look to chop on both sides.

it folds around to the sb and bb, they can chop which means they just take back their blinds and it goes to the next hand. they have to agree to it though which is what this thread is discussing.

There are a lot of casinos that run a "if you don't chop once, you can never chop" policy.. I think I first heard that at the Mirage in Vegas, but have heard it other places too... I think they said it came from some chick who always wanted to chop from the SB but NEVER from the BB...

I'll chop about 99% of the time, gettin all pissed off and showing when I chop my AA...
