UB 2/4 LO8

I'm in EP with AA44 suited. I raise it up since this is a relatively tight table (for a change, lol) and I think I can get heads up. Get a call in LP from a very solid BTPer, plus another call on the button if I remember correctly.

Flop comes 4Q9 (I believe it was a 9, it was definitely a high card). I bet out with my lowly bottom set and the BTPer raises it up. Other caller folds.

What do you do?

good thinking on your part...If I had 3 bet, I would have led out...As it was I agree with J9 (I mean Bri)---go for the ck raise...

Forgot to ask. If you do 3 bet this flop and he caps it back at you, do you lay it down?

no because its very doubtful he puts you on a set.

Well, my thinking during the hand (I had QQ23):
preflop: you likely have a hand like AA2x or A23x, since with a weak A2 you would probably want to see a cheaper flop. I call your raise because on most flops it will be easy for me to make the right decisions and I have position.
Flop: I have top set, and raise to isolate (I want backdoor lows and weak draws out); also, it will be hard for you to put me on a hand, because I may be stealing since the flop likely missed you. I would have flat called a 3-bet in order to raise the turn.
On the turn and river I bet of course (I put you on AA2x and expected to lose the low, but got lucky you didn't have it).
