Yes it happens more. But instead of thinking "damn I cant protect a hand" like them NL non-believers, just think of it as making bets with the odds in your favor. You're the house (when you have a made hand). Some guys might roll the dice right a few times, but in the long run you'll win.

Thanks for all the therapy, it helps. I was looking at my poker tracker stats with just under a thousand hands at the $3/$6 game and I'm averaging 1.95 BB/hour so it could all be worse. I'm going to keep up with it, I think I like limit better for playing online for some reason, although I play live games two nights a week and love the no-limit game at those times.

If you're really coming from NL HE or the like, realize this:

You will frequently get outdrawn.

As well, you will frequently outdraw, because your pot odds will be sufficient to make drawing profitable. So as long as you take your lumps and give 'em too, you will do fine.
