I heard there were no NL games in Veags above $1/$2 that had capped buy ins. Thats not true?

Every 2/5 game that I know of in Vegas other than the Wynn have a capped buyin Ice... Most 2/5s are $500 max, while a couple (Aladdin) have lower buyins...

Hey Ice all the NL games downtown are 1/2 with no cap. Games at the Plaza, Golden Nugget, Binions, and El Cortez. On the strip all the 1/2 games that I know of either have a $100 or $200 max. The only low limit no cap game on the strip is at the Wynn. The big NL games at the Bellagio are also no cap.

Rhound... what do people buy in for downtown at the 1/2?

This was a year and a half ago so things may have changed but I played the $1/$2 NL uncapped at the Horseshoe and the blinds were basically a formality.

You could raise to $25 and get called 4 times. The stacks were anywhere from $200 to $2000 and got bigger as the night wore on.

The players stunk but I have to admit I was intimidated because it was the first time I ever played live and the stacks were much bigger than what I was used to.

So do you want to play capped or uncapped??? I know most of the strip ones are capped... I've never played downtown, although I may hit it this time...

Im going to play capped for several reasons

1) Im good at it
2) I hate downtown
3) Im a wuss

I agree w/ all those reasons... Only good thing in downtown are $5 buffets and double switch blackjack...
