Most of them are a bit pointless as a rule. The ones where they offer a very general bonus (i.e. £10 for pocket aces) are worthwhile though. The rest are a waste of time

I think the £25 for 5 hrs ones comprise William Hill (by coincidence my first ever site), Ritz, Uk Betting and TotalBet. You can multitable 4 tables to release the £25 in 75 minutes at NL $100 tables. That's $175 in 5 hours play. Compare that to trying to release a PS, UB or Empire bonus at $100 NL and you can see why they are my first stop...

I did sign up for the Empire $100 bonus but after taking a look at the tables am not going to bother even trying for it..

Also the players are piss-poor - A typical classic one from last night came when my AA got re-raised - I re-re-raised all in and got a caller ($75 stack) with AQo

Seb - the problem with the TotalBet aces promos is that is requires you to play at £1/£2 tables or higher (but must be sterling £ tables)

The Cryptos rake is calculated in the same currency as the table so the max isn't $3 it's £3 - so if you are playing these tables you will be paying significantly more rake (up to 75% more on any contested hands probably).

Now it may be precisely because of this that the £1/2 tables are fishy as hell (I don't know I've not played em) but you do need to bear it in mind when saying that you 'may as well' play them

It's just if you play the $2/4 tables your max rake is still $3 but if you play £1/2 (or even the 50p/£1) the max rake is £3 (75% more rake) - you see?
