You pull the trigger now or wait for a nice turn?

You could call, but I'd be prepared to play the turn very cautiously. There's not a lot of safe turn cards and there are many turn cards that have the potential to make you an expensive 2nd best hand. The safest cards you really want to see are an A, Q or a non-club K for a total of 7 outs. The remaining cards will either enable a low or make you a non-nut high. Because of this, I don't think folding is entirely unreasonable.

In my latest round of leak detection, overplaying 2 pair was pretty high up on the list. This is one of those cases where your probable best hand at the moment is rarely going to be the probable best hand when all is said and done on the river. 80% of the deck kills you here.

AKxx and a flop of AK9 rainbow vs. 1 or 2 opponents is a case where you can argue for pushing harder with 2 pair. This is not that type of case imo. Folding is a pretty good option, flat calling is a marginally good option. Raising against all but the tightest of players is asking for trouble I think.

Maybe you guys are right, I have had a habit of overplaying top 2. I guess that I was overvaluing the other parts of this hand.

given the implied odds, i might peel one off for $2. i'd fold to a raise on the flop.

this hand could be a great one to push hard with one or two opponents (depending on reads), but i think it's tough to love in a multiway as it's very easy to make a second best hand.
