That was bloooody.
I just finished up a marathon (for me) session up $416. I was down virtually the whole time, and I've been booking nothing but losing sessions lately so I said to myself, WWTFD (what would Ted Forrest do)? I decided that he would keep playing till he made a decent little profit, so that's what I did. I played from 10:09 to 2:17. Good thing I put in so many hands though because Partypoker offered me this sweet deal:
"Dear Xaston,
As one of our special VIPs we want you to know that if you earn
13440 Party Points [includes Regular Points + Happy Hour Points + Raked Day Points only. Does not include TAF Points and Deposit Points.] between January 13 and January 27, 2006 we will deposit a healthy $690 into your account by February 2, 2006."
If they keep giving me offers like that I won't leave them for Stars' VIP program. I made one atrocious fold, so atrocious that when I did it, a mizor lost his wings. Behold, the worst fold of my short poker career:

I also won the first pot I can recall where I capped every single post flop street. Note that MP and I capped the river and cutoff got in 3 bets on the river before he was all in. The hand converters stinks at all ins.:

I am trying to tighten up a few notches. I made a conscious effort this session to be less liberal on both ends of blind steals, and give up on a lot more pots on the turn, and even on the flop if there are 3+ opponents.
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.
