I think I'm gonna try and regularly start posting in this thing. It helps me get my poker thoughts "down on paper." I'm running pretty shitty right now but I also think I am playing very sub-optimally. Hopefully if I make my leaks public here it will help me fix them, here they are:

I am not folding one pair hands to turn raises enough, attempting to steal blinds too much, defending my blinds too much, and making too many fancy post flop bluffs in blind defending situations. I'm not even close to being on pace for my $120,000 goal, although I was for about 9 days, but after that I've been playing and running bad and have gave back more than half of the months profit. Add to that my laptop purchase and my bank account is shrinking a bit and my confidence is slightly shaken. Starting this Monday I am gonna try and get back to some good emotionally detached grinding and posting results regularly in this. I used to take bad beats and keep on keeping on, I have been showing my bad beats to my opponents lately, which I think is really really stupid. Blah. More to come after the Pats game.

I used to be real good at the 50 BB stack PLO games on Party. I'm rusty and the stacks are 100 BB now so I prolly wouldn't be too profitable.

I just finished up a marathon (for me) session up $416. I was down virtually the whole time, and I've been booking nothing but losing sessions lately so I said to myself, WWTFD (what would Ted Forrest do)? I decided that he would keep playing till he made a decent little profit, so that's what I did. I played from 10:09 to 2:17. Good thing I put in so many hands though because Partypoker offered me this sweet deal:

I am trying to tighten up a few notches. I made a conscious effort this session to be less liberal on both ends of blind steals, and give up on a lot more pots on the turn, and even on the flop if there are 3+ opponents.
