Table seems to be passive on early streets but with some betting often taking place on the river. People seem loose, I am probabaly both the tightest and the most aggressive even though I am a novice. I actually got aggressively insulted by a player for raising preflop.

I felt like a loose slut making this call. I only have 6 nut outs (and a backdoor flush)... but I figured that there was a good chance of a scoop if I hit. It's horrible though, right?

My check/raise was supposed to mess up the odds of people still drawing, I don't expect anyone to fold though. One guy did, guess he called the flop with nothing. I get a re-raise so of course I cap it with the current nuts and pray for a no-pair-no-heart river.

I bet right out hoping to get called or raised. Turns our he had Top Two and a gutshot on the turn, didn't he overplay his hand? Still, how messed up is my call on the flop? I'm not sure implied odds make up for it considering this is limit and my hand, even if Imake it, is vulnerable to re-draws. Another consideration I made was that since I have two Jacks it was unlikely anyone would make the same straight, is that a relevant consideration?

Crap! Straight possibility on the table. When I get check/raised I figure he has the nut straight so I just call, hoping to boat up or get a deuce on the river for the nut low at least.

I figure I shouldn't be losing two ways most of the time. It seems unlikely that he should be lucky enough to have both the nut low AND the nut straight so I call hoping for a split. Turns out he was betting... eh... what the hell IS he betting?! A pair of deuces for high and an 8 low?! Wtf... should I be raising this river for value?
