Relax. Seriously, relax. The bar is still a month away. Go blow off some steam. Get caught up on your self-study progress by hitting the substantive reading hard and fcuk the essays (does AK have a performance section?) Do half of the MC. Once caught up, stay on track with the Bar-Bri self study. Take any graded work that Bar-Bri returns to you with a grain of salt. A friend once copied a sample essay word for word, turned it in, and received a 65. Comments like "use a black ink pen" are unhelpful (I assume you are using a laptop, but I am sure Bar-Bri has similarly useless advice in other areas). The best thing about Bar-Bri is the self study program. Use it and your substantive knoledge should be up to the task.

20 out of 33 is good. It is probably passing. And those are the hard questions. The MBE questions are not all hard.

You don't need to ace the bar, you just have to pass.

Exciting stuff. finished up the contracts lectures today. I am hoping to have the rest of my lectures finished by the end of next week, which would give me a little less than a month to do nothing but multiple choice questions and practice essays.

Random legal fact of the day (from work, not the bar): Cartoonists are considered professionals employees for the purpose of the Federal Wage and Hour Act and are exempt from overtime requirements. Animators are not considered professionals and must be paid overtime. It has to do with the amount of discretion each has.

Studying is going ok. Got a load of work from a partner going on vacation this morning.

Played some while watching football yesterday and playing a quick 30 mins tonight. This has basically been the story of my last 200 hands or so.

I am not a malicious person by nature, but I have this anger toward "eskimo" clark and feel it is my duty to elimiate him from a WSOP event and/or mize a huge pot off of him in a cash game at some point and say something like "you ever meet a real eskimo? you have now."

Just makes me think "The Last Nigga on Earth, staring Tom Hanks"

I've been thinking that I may have to revise my playing strategy, maybe raising more with my iffy low hands to try and thin the field.
