Just a note to anyone who is following this journal or to anyone who has gone through a rough patch, it was the change of sites that really helped me. Today I was looking for a $10 mini to play while I was playing the .5/1 PLO8 game, when I noticed there was a really juicy $25 PLO8 game on party. I sat down and was immediately on edge. I picked up A2s and started thinking am I going to miss the flop entirely or miss the huge draw that I flopped. Meanwhile, I am playing calm and a pretty high level on the Crypto game. It was amazing, when I was playing a hand on the party table I was anxious and then I would look back to the Crypto and I would be calm.

My only guess is I have taken so many bad beats and big hands vs. bigger hands at party that I have an association between that layout and getting upset. A perfect example, I have been 1 outted twice in the last two days, once on party and once on crypto (I’ll bet even Monk hasn’t has that happen). The 1 outter on party put my on pseudo tilt and the 1 outter on crypto just made me more determined to play well and earn that money back.

Well, duh. Party is rigged. Everyone knows that.
