Hi folks, I'd like to start by saying I've followed this board for a while, and <insert random generic compliment here>. Really, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I've dabbled with poker a few times over the last few years, but never really took it all that seriously...but now, I've decided to take a good hard crack at it. I've always dreamed about what it would be like to do this for a living, and who knows, maybe I'll someday find out!

I work a fulltime job, so for the time being I'm just gonna try to get about 10-15 hours in per week, but since I shouldn't need to make any withdrawls, I'm hoping I can build up the bankroll a bit as I work off a bit of rust. I started this week with a bankroll of $1431, and played two pretty ugly sessions of 2-4 limit which has me down to $1200. 1200 is almost definitely less that 1431, this much I grant you, but you have to admit it is a lot more aesthetically pleasing. Right, I don't really know how to spell aesthetically.

To wrap this up, I can't guarantee I'll post results for every session, but I will at least manage a weekly summary of my progress and a few posts in between when I feel like it. Good day, fellas!

Current Bankroll : $1200 <---nice round number. gotta love it!

Hey, wanna hear something wierd? No, seriously, this is quite wierd. You're gonna hear this and be like, "Wow, the little shithead was right, that really was kind of wierd!" Okay, I'll tell you something wierd. But not yet. First, I need to set the scene.

Okay, so I have this little text file on my desktop that's set up to do a time-stamp any time I open it. So any time I start or end a session, I just click it open, and BANG I have a clock-in and clock-out time. I then take these two times and use my extraordinary mental math skills to determine the session's length, which I then input into a different file under the appropriate date. Don't worry, that wasn't the wierd thing. Well, okay, it's a bit wierd, or at least anal, but it is not in fact the "wierd thing" that I mentioned in the beginning of my post. THAT particular wierd this is...going to need just a little more backround info.

Right, so these days I start my week on Munday, end it on Sunday, but this particular week actually started on Wednesday. More like Wednesday and a half, really. Thudnesday, you could say, because it was practically Thursday but still technically Wednesday by the time I was ready to start. Reason being, I had my money in stars and multipoker at the beginning of the week, but quickly realized there wasn't enough low-limit game selection on either, so I had to transfer all my money to good ol' Party Poker.

Right...right. So anyway, when I finally got the money in, I decided I was only gonna play a few brief sessions this week to ease my way into it, just shooting for 1-2 hour "testing the waters" types of sessions. And get this, here it comes...At the end of the week, I had played 3 sessions, all of which were timed using the "wanked up little text file on my desktop" method, and...okay, here it is: all three sessions were exactly 1 hour and 34 minutes long! I kid you not. Ya know, after all that lead-up, I can't help but feel that the "wierd thing" itself was a bit of a let-down. Sorry bout that.

Hey bro,

Glad to have you back posting and playing again. My BB/100 has dipped a little since you stopped playing  Coincidence perhaps. What is your name on Party? Good luck with the return.

If you had made exactly $1.34 in each of those sessions you would have a story...

Nice -- just as I come back from hiatus, you're back as well. Now to convince MK to join us at a $3/6 game.

Welcome back :)

Vinny: Why are we stopped here? What's wrong with that spot?
Tyrone: It's too tight.
Vinny: Too tight? You could land a jumbo f*cking jet in that.

Good to have you back as MVP has been working really hard to be both his "Forum Asshole" position and to fill your "Forum Jackass" position as best he could, a Jackasshole. I think it was wearing him down.
