Mjeh. These sort of hands are a bit seductive preflop I think. I got the suited Ace, two small connectors AND a pair.. a little bit of everything. Since nobody bet the flop I figure my low boat is good and that I might get a call from a flush or a naked Q. Since river is such a low card I think my boat is still good, Q4 seems unlikely. Of course I will fold to a raise but is it better to check/call than bet/fold? I think a flush or naked Q will check behind and I dfoubt anyone will bluff. So... bet/fold, check/call or even check/fold, which is the best (If you say check/fold you have to convince me)?

i'd slow down on the river. this is a way ahead / way behind situation, so you're probably only going to get action from a hand that beats you, and that hand very well may repop it.

given that you're oop with two others in the pot, you've got to be thinking that at least one has a Q. a check might induce a small bet from trips Qs, but other than that, this is a hand that i want to show down relatively cheaply.

this might be considered weak tight, but i have seen too many people get stacked in situations like this (i.e., with an underboat) against a flopped top boat or quads.

as a side note... i play this more aggressively if it's HU on the flop.

There's no way I am getting stacked, I am not even calling a miniraise on the river. So you prefer a check/call on the river?

Oh, and what about calling in the SB preflop? I fear I am a bit too loose from the SB... or well, maybe way too loose would be closer to thr truth... 46% from the SB at the moment.
