Look at the crap he was chasing. These people just can't fold. Plus, you have to note the people that will bluff the river if checked to. I bet, he folds or calls with a hand that beats me likely or i check and this happens or it costs me 1 bet to lose rather than him raising me.

thanks for the advice.

These are pretty much the only hands i played this way. Typically, all my other hands, i don't stop betting unless i have solid evidence that i should stop, even when I'm pushing a good drawing hand that has bricked for a couple streets.

There is a shareware free program called Paragon Poker Pal Pro 5 that automatically keeps track of the cards shown at the table. It seems to work at most of the sites I play, u might want to look into it. It makes suggestions, chec fold etc. I'd suggest u ignore that & just look at the probabilities.

I looked for this program and it is not free! you get a free trial but then have to buy for 50 dollars. How does it keep up with mcuked cards before the end of the hand? even poker ace can only get info after the hand has been written to your hard drive after the hand.

Just keeping up with mucked cards would help especially for multi tableing. I may download the free trial and see how it works.

A little late to the party but I wanted to chime in. Flafishy is giving some great advice there on hand #2. Aggression is key in 7-stud, and you need to bet 5th street 100% of the time without a strong read.

On a more positive note, your play in hand #1 is perfect. That would be my standard play there almost all of the time. That works very frequently all the away up to 5/10 and 10/20 from my experience.
