Now that we have all the wonderful codes for making the symbols for the GBP "£" and the Euro "€" (and many others) that I asked for in my previous "funky symbols" post, would it be possible to add them to the "emoticons" menu (table?) so that I can just click on which one I want instead of having to remember these codes? It's not that I can't remember them, it just seems like a natural thing to do and would help out others in the future who might not know these codes either.

Yeah, I could find the images for these symbols.. I'll try to do it tomorrow evening.

hey sebs... I got the codes here... if you wanna say Euro, type "e"... If you REALLY wanna be pretty, hold down shift and it looks like "E"... Pretty sweet eh...

And, don't get me started on the pound symbol, or as we Americans like to call it, "L"...

I don't know much about HTML programming. I just thought that there would be some way to have a button that I could click to have it enter the shortcut for me. It wouldn't even have to be a picture icon like a smiley. It could just be a regular old small button that says GBP or EURO on it. I know that probably doesn't help you much, but thats all I was looking for.
What about maybe a drop down list that had even more items on it like the u with 2 dots above it, " Ü " for folks who like to say uber. LOL, or even the ¼, ½, ¾ and the one third and two thirds, other crap like that. I'm sure you could come up with all kinds of helpful stuff to put on it.
