Tidy Profit

Well i am really starting to enjoy NL now. Its probably been a month or two since i decided i needed a change and i think i am really well suited to NL in general. At first i thought the idea of losing so much money on the one hand could really hurt me and i wasnt prepared to risk it. Now my mindset has changed to the potential to win so much in a given hand which is exactly what i have been doing.

After grinding away all of my saturday and pretty much breaking even over the course of numerous hours i had a session last night that lasted a whole 30 minutes which saw me win $165 odd Euro that quickly. Most were pretty simple calls where i just knew i had the best hand.

Example one im in the big blind with Q10s and it gets raised up from MP to $2.50 i decide to call and take a look at the flop.

The Flop came a beautiful Q,10,X

After the flop we raised and re-raised back at each other and then i knew what this guy had...AA

He couldnt let it go and i pushed him when the turn bricked and he couldnt let go.

Mainly just plays like this one are making me money and im really enjoying poker at the moment! Dont have the stats with me now will post later on.

Well it happened i had been putting in pretty good wins for the most part of a week at Martins and well i capitulated last night into a tilting frenzy!

It was the sort of tilt were u just donk off a stack not even remembering how you lost it.
I honestly cannot even remember my beats for the most part. Alot of them well at least 1/2 were mainly because of my play. I think my gameplay was vastly different to what i usually play like and i cannot even explain how it happened. I just sorta lost a few calls with things like KQs where it was a Q high flop and the villian has AQ

The only good hand i can remember was me picking up quad 3's however i was shortstacked at the time but did get to callers. The sad news is i dropped all the money from the previous night and then some ending in around a $215 Euro Loss, which would go close to my biggest loss thus far in poker. Im going back to my basics now no more bluffing,tilting etc just play my way and i should at least get out of Martins with a profit LOL

Just dont let theiur crazy play make you tilt. I think playing too long sessions in B2B is a bad idea because you suffer way too many bad beats and that can affect your play.

I remember days when I was winning more than 3 stacks and ended up losing, mostly because of BBs but some due to tilt.

Been busy at it clearing the Martins bonus over the past 2 days....i am currently playing and am down a bit but yesterday i won about $200 Euro which makes up for that loss a week or so ago.

In other news went out Saturday night and i am feeling terrible. I just cant seem to recover at all from any sort of hangover like i used to. I dont even like drinking anymore really, i probably had the equivalent of around 10-15 beers and i just feel like absolute shite. today i made myself throw up because i was that bloated and yeah drinking-no good

Im trying to weigh up whether to play at Pokerstars or not as well as Martins
From all reports the play there is highly profitable however im just not sure whether its worth it i mean no bonuses really to speak of there only there VIP program.

Anyway any feedback on Pokerstars VIP program would be good. Il get back to nursing this hangover.

Well only got an hour or so in last night but it was a highly profitable one 2 tabling the NL .5/1 over at martins. The big hands that paid were me calling in the small blind with 7, 8 offsuit in an unraised pot. The flop came a beautiful 456 giving me the nuts. Some guy paid me off chasing his flush. That hand was huge and another where i had AA and some guy thought his TPTK was good enough even when i raised huge PF.

Ah well im now over halfway through Martins and ive made over $400 Euro profit not including the bonuses. As much as i complain about the joint im still winning and well im set to probably hit a 3K bankroll once i get out of this place if all things go to plan.

Hey everyone,

Just got back from a holiday away yesterday which was just over a week which also meant no poker for that period of time. I needed to refresh myself after copping so many bad beats and just generally playing like shit!

Anyway the bad news is just before i left i had another bad session then when i got back last night i lost another 100 Euro...

I am now sitting at Martins and that 400 odd Euro which i had earned and was up with has now dwindled away into practically nothing!!!

Ah well im here for bonus and now as i speak im about to crank open a table and see if i can turn this thing around. Only 1000 odd VIP to clear and i want to leave this site ASAP!!!!

How Quickly We Forget

Well got some time to myself this morning and well figured its time to start getting back into poker properly im gonna try at least get 15 hours a week

I have a few commitments that are stopping me from playing more

Anyway ive been locked up in Martins in hibernation not letting myself see the whole poker world thus my play has been going badly. You know when the look of a site just bores you and you start to play below par because u have been there so long grinding?

Well i had that...i was bored browsing BW and saw Stars had a reload OMG! i didnt even know thats how busy i have been. Anyway load up one PS table of .5/1 NL 6 max and im sitting there $70 richer right now in about 20 minutes all from just standard plays people were going all in with say A with a weak kicker when i had a broadway straight
I remember now these are the people i used to play...not these crazy euros! lol anyway will see how things go gotta clear the $120 bonus now as well.

Sorry for not posting as frequently as i used to....poker in general is just really peeving me lately and well i havent really lost all that much money i just get so frustated when dodgy shit happens to me.

For instance i have say KK and raise 5-6x the bb PF someone calls flops 922 i end up spending a lot of money and he will flip over like 42 offsuit and take it down.

Anyways had a lot going on in my life lately including schoolwork, normal work, girlfriend problems and lack of care for poker.

The good news is that Pokerstars bonus is 400FPP done and im up $30 or so. I was down $120 then went on a huge upswing to be up $120 now im sitting at $30 up.

Once i clear Martins and Pokerstars im heading home to Absolute Poker i seem to be able to outplay conisistently some of the donks on there.

Anyway i will try and post a bit more like i used to do Hope everyone is good !
