Not to be dismissive of 8ptbb/100 over a month with 17k hands, but I sincerely feel that my game has leagues to go in the way of improvement, which is what makes this game so great. I was at 10.94ptbb/100 over a similar amount of hands last month.

Still making mistakes and idiot plays from time to time though - gotta be cognizant of minimizing those. Got through another hour or so of the cash game. The laugh and reaction you made Ex, when Droq moved in on you when you limped AA in the cutoff was very funny. Had me laughing out loud on the train this morning.

Ok, played 1100 hands since wednesday's debacle ( 2 sessions). +$536 (536BBs) or 23.28 PTBB/100. Can 'tsneeze at 46.5 real BB/100. I'm very proud that I didnt carry any lingering tilt from the bas session on 2/1.

Last night I played about 750 hands and just ground away like mad. I think the biggest pot I played was 50BB. Had no hands except for 1 KK and 1 QQ. Managed a +$135 session with no action/no cards. It was just stealing small pots with CBs and raising with air when I knew the villain had air.

Tonight was a different story. hit a few sets including a set over set scenario.Played 394 hands and came away with +$409 or 51.84PTBB/100. Thats cool

had the pleasure of playing and chatting with BTP's own Bobby on the Dise last night as well.

Poker is good.

Approaching (bout $400 shy) of breaking a 5 figure BR for the first time. Before I bought PT and read X's work and BTP (this was 8/17/05), I was floundering with an $700BR on the $25NL and had no clue.

Swingy Session - ended +$268.5 or 15.96 PTBB/100 in 841 hands. This while running AA into KK all in PF (he hits his set), KK vs AA all in PF (lost 3/4 stack), JJ vs KK (full stack) on a J x x K x board. All these hands went against me and still managed a nice profit - no tilt, no grabassery. My AF is perched at about 4.24 and about 6 on the flop - which is good. Helps to bet out all the time - they never believe you have a monster.

Things are generally going very well. Have lost a few big pots (100-150bb) with hands that were pretty big favorites when the money went in , but all in all I definitely cannot complain. Poker is treating me well, but in no way am I running ridiculously hot. The one issue I seem to be having, and this is unusal for me, is motivational. The last few months, I’ve averaged like 16-17k hands, and there doesn’t seem to be any way for me to hit that mark in February, if things progress as they are. It’s a short month, and I’ve already skipped 3 days. One thing I am getting better at is calling it quits for the night if I’ve made a relatively big score early. The smash and grab, if you will.

So I made some adjustments and am running at about 13PTBB/100 so far over March.

Man poker was kicking me in the nuts there for like a week or ten days. It got me more riled up than the BTP Far Left Al Qaeda Apologists Contingent. Who knew that this site was a breeding ground for secessionists propaganda. vile vile vile.
