overpair and nut flush draw. I think i could do any of the 3. I'm new to the table but haven't been impressed so I don't think he has to have that big of a hand but he could have a set, two pair or a straight and flush draw or a combination of them. I obviously have some outs.

I'd probably almost have to see the turn, but I don't like betting out on the draw without a read. Once you bet, you give other players the opportunity to raise you off the hand, since potting it now becomes such a huge bet. I think you're going to have trouble seeing further than the turn the way the hand plays, although a straighty turn might slow down JJ (or a player repping JJ).

I definately would not have bet the flop with your draw. Better to exercise some pot control and check/call if its not too steep a price to see the turn.

Is an easy fold right now since u r behind on a set/ wrap draw/TTP and your pot odds are horrible.

how would this have been different if i was oop to the raiser instead of the raiser being oop and checking to me? I would be more willing to take your line if the prf was the one to act behind me but since he acted before and checked, this is a good time to try to take the pot.

Hmmmm... The raiser isn't the one you're battling with here, though. Admittedly, there's only one player left to act behind.

But, at least for me, I'd still prefer to take the free card and would almost prefer to bet with LESS of a hand (like AA with no draw at all), that I could just let go if LP raises or the raiser comes out and check-raises. With your hand, I definitely want to see a turn, so I don't see why it needs to be so expensive to do so.

Quite aside from the hand you're actually up against, I'd rather pot it and take down a $30 pot when I'm ahead than get a full stack in when I'm behind, even if I'm not all that far behind.
