I played three hands with QQ against the same opponent last night, in all of which I probably made mistakes.
Table is an UltimatePoints table (these points are a currency at UB; you can use them to buy into tourneys or as gift certificates). Buyin is 2500pts, blinds are 10/25. Play is 4 handed.

First hand: first hand I played; I'm BB with QQ. Opponent (UTG) min. raises to 50. All call. Because it is the first hand and I know nothing about the opponents, I call, hoping for a good flop. Flop comes AQ6, no flush possible. SB check, I check, UTG bets pot (his stack is now 1200). Folded to me; I call. Turn is a rag. I check, he bets pot (600), I raise all-in. He calls and flips over AA. I really expected to see just one ace in his hand...

Fifteen minutes later I get QQ again, now on the button. I open raise to 3xBB, and opponent (SB) reraises to 200. I call. Flop comes A65, no flush. He bets the pot. (Stacks are about equal, 2000 pts.) I have seen him play small pocket pairs aggressively and make big bets into scary boards. Also, he caught me stealing the blinds. So I raise the pot. He calls. Turn is a T. He checks, I check. River is a rag. He checks, I move all-in. He calls and shows JJ.
I have no idea why I played it like this, I probably was very lucky to get away with it.

One hour later: QQ on button again. I have about 3000, opponent 2000. I raise to 3xBB. Opponent min. raises. I call. Flop is JJ3. He bets 200, about2/3 of the pot. Now I'm either very far ahead or very far behind, so I just call. My reasoning was that if I'm ahead then he will probably fold to a raise and if I'm behind I do not want to invest more money. Turn is a 5. Now he checks, so I bet 250, trying to make it look like I want to extract some more money. He folds, flashing AK.

Any thoughts?
