I was wondering if anyone had ever dealt with Absoulute on bonus clearing before. The new issue of BLUFF mag has a 200% on 1st time deposits and having never played there before, I wanted to get the low down from y'all For the rake to count towards the bonus the pot has to be at least $10 (.50 minimum rake). I usually play .50/1 but could move up to 1/2 to clear the bonus I think. Thanks.

OK, let me give you the 411 on Absolute. You can find maybe 4 tables at peak hours at a given limit, but there are some times when you can't find any. The software is shit and will crawl at times, especially with PT / PA Hud. The place is a rock garden. I've been entire weekends there when I didn't see anyone above 20% VP$IP, so the bonus doesn't clear fast at all, even at 1/2. The tables are 9 max and people will sit out, leave, etc. so a lot of the time you'll essentially be playing with only 6 or 7 people.

If you play 6 max exclusively, there are a lot of those tables, but I don't do that so I can't comment on the game strength.

That said, the bonuses are so sweet, and if you have a rakeback deal it ends up being like 100% rakeback at 1/2.

I have gotten totally destroyed there at limit, while at every other site I'm able to make a steady profit. I only play no limit there now, and it's slow as hell to clear a bonus like that, but I really can't put up with the combination of rocks, 9 max tables that turn into 6 max, and their shitty software.

I second everything Derk said about Absolute, including the part about just getting murdered there at limit. If you are going to play there, don't do the Bluff 200% sign-up bonus. Find a rakeback affiliate and sign up through them. Absolute offers literally thousands of dollars a year in reloads so don't worry about that. Their rakeback is extremely generous (they don't deduct from your MGR for bonuses ) so it can really add up.

Sadly, even with bonuses and rakeback I'm still down there several hundred dollars. There are many softer games around so I've sworn off that place for at least a few months.

AP is a ROCK garden. The bonus clears quickly, but the play is atrocious. I've found that the 1/2 limit on Friday nights has action and they SUCK.

They offer at LEAST 600/month in bonuses...usually much more...so don't worry about having to get in on 200% initial deposit bonus...you could get a 10% and have a 100% reload thrown at you within a week! Bonuses are stackable but they do time-out, though since they're throwing huge reloads at you all the time, it's just not an issue.

I'd stay away for the time being, though they HAVE started a TV ad campaign which may bring more loose fishies in for now!
