Glad you joined the NL darkside - More BB/100 to be won here for sure. Once we climb into the 200NL arena, whoring will go that much faster too - My BR is at the 2300 mark and has been slow to climb lately. Hope to get up up to 3K soon. Got Viagra?

Agree with the wifey gift thing. Just ordered a couple of 3 seater leather sofas, paid for mainly by the short stack donks at Ladbrokes. Thanks to those guys!

Nah, MVP, she aint into young rich guys like you. She likes.... wait, what the hell did I just say? She's a woman, therefore she is automatically into young rich guys. You stay the hell away.
Well, I guess I don't have too much to worry about because she definitely likes "lucky" guys and that rules you out this month.

Thaninja, yeah, I had to do something after that horrendous February playing limit. Seems I've found a sweetspot for the moment. NL200 should be fun from some of the HH's I'm seeing posted by others. Now to just get the BR up there to do it. OH, and I might want to learn how to play first too but that just a minor thing right? :D

Northview,
I'm not going quite that big! Geez! Those are really expensive! But glad to hear that nobody (so far) thinks it's a bad idea to do.

Played another bit at Staff poker trying to get that damned bonus done. Of course I lost again so when I do finally clear it, there aint gonna be any of it left anyhow so probably wastin my time there.

After that I decided bonus or not I'd see if my Tribeca "lucky"ness would go with me to Paradise.
2 words.

It did.

These are my 2 hands that made me the most money tonight. The first one I actually had to play poker and I probably screwed it up but I still won a really nice pot with it. The second was one of those AA hands that usually go the other way with me but this time held up. The only reason I'm posting the AA hand is because of the chat when the guy with KK went allin. Was frickin hilarious. The guy is a damned fortune teller! 'cept I'm not sure who he was referring to!

Just one session today. Started with 2 tables but one had an extremely cold deck so I shut it down and got on 3 different ones to finish out the session on 4 tables. Finally hit a nice pot on the first table to give the day a bit of meaning.

Tomorrow is supposed to be the day that I get my RB from Doyles, that should be a nice extra little bonus. I just wish I had been getting RB at BoSPoker as well because I payed more rake at that joint.

WARNING: Bitching and Moaning below

Why is it that just when I think I am kicking ass BR wise, I go to work and have to have someone who has just a passing fancy in online gambling, (she sometimes plays bingo and slots at online casino's), come up and say "I won a $7000 jackpot playing the nickel slots last night!" And this isn't the first time she has done that kinda crap! She's come in after playing bingo and told of a $4000 win and a $2500 win as well! And she is NOT losing enough money while playing to make much of a dent in these huge prizes! Here I am grinding it out every night after work for a 'measly' $100 a night, and she plays maybe one or possibly two nights a week at a game that requires no skill, and she is kicking my ASSSSSS in winnings! Hell, she's paid off all her bills and car and god knows what else, and I'm not even to the BR point yet of being able to take out a monthly stipend for cryin out loud! Other than the gift that I am planning on using a little of it, to buy for my wife, I've only ever borrowed from the BR when a budget problem occurred in the household. But that was put back in when the crisis was over. Sheesh! I'm beginning to think I should have a damned bingo card going at all times now when I am playing poker! And you can set the freakin thing to play itself for you!!!!
I'm happy for her and all that but my god, are we in the wrong game here? I can't, and won't, let myself believe that. But that shit definitely goes through your head the 3rd time it happens!

END OF WHINING

None.

When I got home from work there was exactly ZERO NL50€ FR tables going at Staff Poker for me to work on finishing that bonus and I don't care to deposit more money there in order to play NL100€. Guess I'll just have to make one final push on saturday to get the last 177 VIP's done before the 19th.

GAWDAMN THE SUCKOUT MAN!!!!!

Another winning streak over and done with. Shit! Started a new tribeca bonus today at Poker Aces Club which is on the dbpn(Doyles Room) subnetwork of Tribeca. $135 for 13.5k action points so basically 100% rakeback. So what do I do? I start out by losing a bundle with QQ to TT when he flops his set. Then lose with AQ to A8 when he hits an 8 on the freakin river! So, in keeping with my self imposed $200 a day loss limit, I'm quittin early as I am now -$186.27 for the day. Damn! only got to play 1 freaking session too! But I must have had my mind on other things cuz I doubt I was playing all that well to begin with. So stopping now is probably a good thing for the BR.

BTW, When did the Tribeca sites go to the 3 tables max thing? That just plain sucks!

And to put a cherry on top of the Banana Shit Split I got served today, I didn't get my rakeback from Doyles Room either! That was supposed to happen today and didn't so we'll wait a bit and see how that one turns out. Bastards.

My loan app for the motorcycle I'm buying got approved today and I know I've been thinking about that a lot. Sign the papers tomorrow and pick the bike up. Maybe my mind will be more centered and able to concentrate after that. For you motorcycle guys, it's a Yamaha 1100 V Star Classic. So there should be a lot of MUCHO FUNNO in the "time not spent playing poker" column this spring and summer! I can't wait for the first day I have off that is warm enough to load up the fly rod and take a ride up into the mountains and catch a few trout!

Anyway, here's the shitty daily tally for me today:

PokerAcesClub NL100, 3 tabling, played 4 total, 346 hands, 355 minutes, -$186.27 - So far this is only the 2nd time I have had to institute my daily stop loss so I suppose things could be worse. But who the hell doesn't want to win every time they play?

RB: 0 - assholes.
Bonus: 0

Bonus Progress:

Earned 1317 Action points towards the 13.5k needed to clear at the new Tribeca bonus.

I wonder if it's site specific about the 3 or 4 tables thing because I asked them in the live chat if something was wrong and they said no, 3 tables max. It was like that at both BoSPoker and PokerAcesClub.

Sometimes it seemed to limit me to 3 too.
But if I add another table to the waitlist it will pop up when it's available and then I could play 4.

Dunno if it still works.

Wow what a shitty end to an otherwise great day. I got to go into work an hour late because I was signing the loan papers for my motorcycle. Then after work I GOT my motorcycle and road around for about an hour giving a ride to my oldest daughter and such. Then I started in on the Tribeca tables to win back the $188 I lost yesterday plus the $43 I lost this early a.m. at Paradise and was well on my way when things went to hell because I made a couple stupid plays. I mean I was literally ALL THE WAY out of yesterdays hole and then when I finally quit I was only up for the day by $16.27. So I am STILL down from yesterday! i suck.

Oh well. At least I have a motorcycle now. And if I'm out riding it, I can't be making stupid plays at the poker table during that time right? That has to be +EV, if not it's at least HUGE +funEV!!!

Anyway, here's the ugly stats for the day. Sheesh, I can't believe I'm calling a winning day ugly! I guess I've gotten spoiled by all the winning this month. Might be luck, but I deserve it after last month.

Todays Stats:

Paradise Poker NL100, 2 tabling, 160 hands, 164 minutes, -$43.20 - Always a bad sign when you start the day out losing at the Paradise fish pond.

PokerAcesClub NL100, 3 tabling, 461 hands, 464 minutes, $59.47

Bonus Progress:

Earned 2088 Action Points at PokerAcesClub. Total now 3405 out of 13500 needed to clear. 2 days, already 25% cleared! I love how fast the good bonuses at the Tribecas seem to clear!

WTF is with the Tribeca tables all of a sudden? It's a freakin friday night and when you get on a table it breaks up soon after. Or it's a table with a bunch of folks buying in for the minimum. Then the dang cashier page has problems so you can't get at your money to get on anymore tables...... Such a total change from the last coupla weeks. Ended up going and signing up for the $200 7x bonus at PokerRoom. And then those tables sucked too. Just was not very much money changing hands. The only place that seemed to go like normal was Paradise. Where I managed to win enough to be up for the day after all the small losses at the other places.

I played in an MTT tonight. Unfortunately, I got knocked out in 61st when the top 40 paid. The hand I got knocked out on I'm not sure if I should have played it differently or not. The villain had me in covered 2or3 to 1 in chips and is the table chip leader. The blinds were 300-600 and I had about 5500 chips left. I was in the SB with 55 and it folded around to the villain OTB who minraised the pot preflop. I pushed figuring him to just be trying to steal our blinds since we were starting to get a bit on the low side compared to everyone else. He turns over AA. And if that wasn't bad enough, he flops 2 more Aces! Bye Bye now.

Todays Stats:

PokerAcesClub (Tribeca) NL100, 3 tabling, 89 hands, 101 minutes, -$24.25
PokerAcesClub (Tribeca) NL100, 3 tabling, 129 hands, 112 minutes, -$24.25

PokerRoom NL100, 3 tabling & tourney, 370 hands, 390 minutes, $21.27

Paradise Poker NL100, 1 table, 49 hands, 53 minutes, $52.75

RB: 0
Bonus: 0

Bonus Progress:

Earned 412 more Action Points towards the latest Tribeca bonus. Total now at 3817 of 13500 needed.

Earned 120.38 points towards the 1400 needed to clear the bonus

Went for a ride on my motorcycle today after finishing up the Staff Poker bonus. When I got back I found that I am having Spyware/Malware problems with my computer. Pretty bad too so I'm just gonna reformat the hard drive as that seems to be the most sure way of getting rid of them.
Don't know how long I'll be out of the poker game. Hopefully be back tomorrow.
