FWIW, I find that the classic free card play works better in PLO and PLO8 than in Holdem. Thusly, I'll bet any and all good draws when in position. From the $100 level on down it seems like the 'checkraise when on a good draw OOP' does not work as well, i.e. when the turn blanks and you check they will generally bet out more often than not.

Yeah but who says you check on the turn? If you draw wasn't good enough to still push the turn, maybe it wasn't good enough to check raise. Its all about fold equity. You get it with the flop check raise and you still get it on the turn when if you pot bet, it pretty much an all in so instead of having them make a decision for 1/5 of their stack on the flop, you are making them decide on the rest of it on the turn.
