SB bets $1, Hero raises to $14.05...

It's obvious that the SB doesn't like his hand that much on the turn and wants to see a cheap river. So of course, I raise. Had he checked to me, I would have considered taking a free card, but when my opponents makes a weak bet into me like that I can't help myself from insta-raising oftentimes regardless of what I hold. I'm starting to think mindless raising in this situation might be a leak, and that I need to be willing to scale back the aggression and only raise when a semi-bluff seems prudent. What do you think? Raise or just call?

I make the same play (raising weak bets). However, I don't think that you have to reraise pot there in order for it to work. If he only likes his hand $1 worth, he will probably fold for a $6-8 raise. Also, on PS be careful because I have clicked on bet $1 when I wanted to raise more than that. I wish all sites had the BET POT button like UB.
