I agree with the guys above. If you are a short stack in the final 3, if you get a medium to higher pair, push em, a big ace, push em, etc.
When the players are aggressive and you know that a 3 times BB raise won't make them fold, or you are going to be pot committed anyways, it makes more sense to push rather than just raise.
If you are chip leader or close to it, I try to let the other guys fight it out unless I get a monster starting hand, and then I'll mix it up. I will also defend my big blind with a small raise if I have something decent.
