I play the same TAG game even if I double up early, early to me is until the 100BB or until it's down to 5 players.

Once in a while I will play Ax from MP but if I don't hit the flush on the flop then it's up to the pot odds if it's checked to me then I need some info so I will make a bet of about 1/2 the pot.

A2s of course belongs in the muck unless you're in LP and there is a lot of limpers.

On the turn you might as well fold already. It's likely someone has another Ace, in which case they have you beat, and even if they don't have you beaten the only river card you would like to see is one of the two remaining non-spade deuces. Here's how many hands you are DRAWING DEAD against:

The ones marked with * are likely considering the conditions. So that's 5 hands you're drawing dead agains, against any other Ace you're drawing to 2 outs for a win and a few more for a split. Whoop-de-doo.

When you get lucky and double up early you've pretty much gotten a free pass to the money. Sit back and play tight until you're ITM.

Anytime I see someone show Ax, he's a target. I just can't be scared of someone who plays weak aces. He's going to give me his chips, sooner or later.

That's what good players are thinking when you play Ax in MP.

Poker is not as clear cut as you make it seem CJ.

Axs is mostly a trash hand but there is definitly times when it can be correct to play it.

Fine play... especiay with that huge field A2s is good for set of 2s, flush and str8 value... of course 2 pairs also, but even there its risky buisiness with that field.

however i think you had to call the turn considering the ridiculous odds you had.
