When I raised preflop, it was my first hand played. I was surprised I got so many callers and that flop was either really good or really bad for me. I've seen this situation so many times that people weak lead into someone when they have the trips and want to reraise you when you try to show strength on the flop. This guy gave me the best way to learn if he had the king cheap. By min raising, it made it look like I had the king without actually committing a lot more chips. This way, if anyone behind me or the bettor had it, they would likely raise it right there thinking I will give them action. Overally, I hat min raising but this seemed to be the ideal time. What do you guys think of this play?
