just to make an announcement, i hate these things with a passion.
it seems like i can always make it to the top 4 or 5 (folding while waiting for monsters is easy), but i think i've only cashed once in the five or ten that i've played (i won it, iirc). i mean, wtf... you get people calling pf raises with all kinds of crap, and you NEVER now where you're at. you can't nut peddle since the blinds are going up too quickly.
ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED.
at the ft $5 plo8 sngs (a drunkened endeavor while watching poker after dark), it seems like it gets to four or five within 25 hands or so with the blinds at 60/120, and then i feel lost. i just pushed with 2pr and a semi-counterfeited low (which was good if another low card came), some jacker called with top 2 and no low on a low board. i hit a bigger 2pr, and he hits his str8, and the extra low card never comes. how do these fvckers do it?
i hear that these are easy to cash in, and i MUST be doing something wrong. these people are AWFUL. why can i not capitalize on this? is 60/120 4-handed too early to be pushing hands like 2pr?
fwiw, i play US mornings (8 am to noon EST)... or evening my time.
help me, please. this is ridiculous.
