To the guys I've written regarding an article idea, my apologies. Something else has been in the works.

I've been talking with the Program Director of an ESPN Radio affliate here about doing a two-hour call in talk show about poker. He's been very receptive of the idea and it's starting to roll.

At first, they weren't receptive--talking about poker on the radio?--but I'm fairly persuasive. Once they realized the possibilities, they got pretty excited about it. Sponsorship is already in place. We may even get Party Poker as the main sponsor.

What do you think, guys? Cactus Jack's PokerTalk Radio! If my dreams come true, I'll be national by WSOP. It's possible.

First things first. I guess you guys think this is something that might work? I've been working on this for awhile. No doubt a lot of people are going to be skeptical, but they were skeptical about the World Poker Tour at first, too. I hope I'm onto something here.

I think it will because everywhere I go, when I tell people I play poker, they immediately want to talk about it. I just believe it will be a popular show, and think it could grow into something.

I'm working on ideas. I'll take suggestions.

It works. Specifically on KXAM out of Pheonix - 1310am. It can be heard on www.kxam.com Saturdays at 7pm PST and MST, 8pm CST and 9pm EST. He is in the process of being nationally syndicated (200 stations).

Aw, shit! I didn't sign on last night after getting home, so I didn't see your message, TUP. I wish I had, so I could have given it a listen. But, that's going to put me over the top in getting this off the ground. If someone else is doing it, there's a market, which I already knew there was. It's just that very few people ever want to be the first to do anything.

Yesterday morning (Saturday) I heard the guy on Fox Sports radio talking about poker. First time I had caught his show. It was great.

Go for it Cactus. I can guarantee at least one listener in Iowa.
