Ok, that's a big buy-in tourney. As far as I remember sunday warm-up, 200+15.
(On a side note, a friend of mine takes half of my action, that's why I can afford to play these tournies.)
This is a kind of a hand I have trouble playing. Normally when we are 30BB+ deep I feel myself at home in the tourny, when we are 15BB deep there are some tough spots that I am not sure how to hanlde.
Like in this hand.
I have about 23k, blinds are 800/1600, antes 40, starting pot 2800.
UTG is loose and bad IMO. He has a big stack due to getting lucky/people paying him off. He has about 80k.
Preflop: UTG limps, folded to me, and I raise to 6400 with AJo on CO.
All fold, UTG calls.
Flop (17600):
(I am not sure exactly, just remember that it was a low, uncoordinated flop.)
UTG open pushes, it is about 17k for me to call.
Well, I folded.
And the question. How the fxxk I am supposed to play here? Preflop included.
P.S. BTW a bit later he took the rest of my stack when I get short and tried a resteal. What astonishes me, is that he played really bad. I mean if I played short-handed 100BB deep I would clean him very fast. When for a short time we played deeper he did many mistakes and was easy to read. But when we got shorter I just didn't have an opportunity to do anything.
