Up until the first break I would probably play as many hands as I could as long as they were paired, suited and/or connected (0 or 1 gapped) unless the preflop betting got too aggressive. No bluffing - except C-bets - and value bets on every street I figured I am ahead. Although I would like to use this time to gather chips while the blinds are small, if that plan doesn't pan out and I end up losing chips instead, I'd halt the loose play if my stack suffers a loss of 30% or more (t600). I don't want to shorten my stack too severly on speculative hands and find myself short when I get a monster I can take to war with. I most deffenately do not want to get so short stacked that I have to play all or nothing tactics when the blinds are so small and the other players still have plenty of gamble in them. Hopefully you won't have to re-buy but if there is an add-on make sure you buy those extra chips.
After the break I would tighten up a lot until bubble time and/or the final table where I'd loosen up considerably with position but only slightly so if out of position - unless I was short-stacked and had to double up before the antes/blinds killed me. Don't worry about your opps getting a read on your positional betting pattern - if they're newbies they won't read much more than their own hands! Once I'm in the money I get selectively but hyper aggressive (or fold preflop - few/very few hands are limped in). Pressure being the name of the game and me putting it all on my opps whenever I can.
Good luck!
