I really don't feel like Piers "Beating Online Limit Hold'Em" sticky is the most profitable way to play loose low-limit games.
I can't argue with you there but nowhere have I ever made the comment that playing like I suggest in that thread will reap the most profits. I have only set forth some guidelines for beginning players to use until they have a more solid foundation of the game that will come with experience at the tables. When they get a better feel for the game sure they can open up some more and probably extract a greater profit from playing more marginal hands particularly in good position. Those guidelines are a simple path to follow that will keep them out of sticky situations for the most part while learning the ropes. No matter how many times they read SSHE until they get a pretty good deal of table experience behind them and learn how to handle situations post flop they will get eaten alive by playing 54s and making overcalls with third pair.
