I also bet it because of the fold equity at this table and my position, of course.
Even at .01/.02 UB players fold too often. You would be amazed how many times one person bet into a large pot on showdown and all the other four folded.
I thought it'd be fun to play even looser than SSHE's LOOSE-table standards. I played every single suited hand and pocket pair, no matter my position, unless raised. Against raises I only played the better suited connectors, all pocket pairs, and the usual premium hands. By playing this way I only ended up playing 32% of my hands.
I have an extremely small sample, but I'm up 39.5 BB/100 over 200 hands. I also was more aggressive than usual on every street because of the fold equity on these tables.
