FLOP: Easy raise. I can make everyone face two, and the only person who bet was on the button, and he is an awful player.

RIVER: I don't know why I thought we were going to split here. With three eights out there and him not popping me on the turn, I have to assume he has a 7 or worse hand. Of course he could have a Q and we split, but it didn't seem that likely.

Once again I miss out on a few extra bets (see my post before this with my bottom two-pair hand)... then again he might have just folded to a re-raise.

At least I played my other hands right and ended up 15BB/100 over the 150 hands.

its a little worse in PLO or a NL game where the pot is heads up for the whole thing. I've lost money by pushing but that is less than $1. When i push and we aren't splitting, that's an extra $5-25 for me.

I wasn't smart enough to consider the rake part. I just figured I had other hands to tend to on other tables and we're probably going to split anyway. A stupid conclusion, indeed.
