Some of you may recall me posting a thread a little over a month ago from me encountering absolutely awful variance at PP 1/2. You can re-read that bit .
Here's what it looked like:
Since then I was terrified of returning to 1/2! I knew the players there weren't any more skilled and I just was getting handed terrible variance. Still, look at how much I lost in such a small span of time! To say the least, my mind wasn't giving me any ease with playing 1/2 again.
The past couple weeks I've sucked it up and returned to 1/2. I still was a little cautious at first and playing slightly weaker than usual, but now I'm back in full force.
Have you ever seen such a tremendous leap in variance? Over 1200 hands I've nearly jumped from -11BB/100 (-$188) to break-even!

Anyone else have any similar experiences? I'm absolutely amazed at the change!
