Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [Kh], [Th].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, 2 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (8.50 SB) [Jh], [8h], [2d] (8 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero raises, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO calls, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 3-bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero caps, CO calls, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (15.25 BB) [5c] (5 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, CO calls, UTG calls.

River: (20.25 BB) [Kd] (5 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, CO folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 23.25 BB

UTG+1 was your typical TAA player - 16 VP$IP / 6 PFR. Everyone else at the table was ridiculously loose. The second that UTG+1 limped from early position I could immediately put him on a narrow range of hands: AJo, KQo/s, 99-77. (Against loose players, I have much more difficulty - especially when they play crap like any two suited cards.)

Flop: Flush draw with an overcard and backdoor straight draw - raising for value (and cleaning up outs for my K). When UTG+1 3-bet me, I thought he had 88 which worried me. But as long as board didn't pair up and I hit my heart, I'd be good.

River: UTG+1 checks? Why would he check with a set? The only hand that makes sense for him is AJ. He doesn't like the overcard K hitting with four others in the hand.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [Qh], [Ac].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, CO calls, 3 folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) [7d], [6c], [Qd] (4 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, CO folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (7.75 BB) [6s] (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (10.75 BB) [7c] (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 10.75 BB

This was a different UTG+1, but still, the same general stats. Once again it was easy to put him on a narrow range of hands.

Flop: He leads into me, then calls the bet and check-calls to river. Durr I think he has KQ!

Of course, I also play tightly from EP so it's easy to put me on a narrow range of hands. I also add any two suited cards ten or higher though. And if the table is loose-passive enough, I'll add AXs and all pocket pairs.

You missed a value bet on the second one.

Yeah, I didn't like the double-paired board with UTG sticking around. All I knew was UTG was very loose. For all I knew he wanted to check-raise the river. Against just UTG+1, I'd easily bet that river. In retrospect, I was being too paranoid. Only the stupidest of players would attempt a check-raise on a double-paired board - they should know it's more than likely to be checked through.
